Resolved Question: Will the Cats experience a GF hangover in season 2012?

This Q is on the back of a recent question that Lexi asked. about Geelong's chances in the first 8 rounds in season 2012. GF hangovers do exist. the Hawks were the last team to suffer from this very rare debilitating footy disease. after winning the GF in 2008. Can the Cats do the same in 2012? Edit} Lexi. Grand Final hangover is a phrase that has been used by the footy media for years. Lou Richards liked to use this term when a team that won the GF the previous year. had a bad run the following year. to usually miss out on a finals berth. in 1980 when Carlton missed out in between 79,81 & 82 premierships. he used to love throwing it at the club for missing out that year. when the club was in the middle of a power struggle at the top. to see who was going to run the club. sorry mate. it's more than just a theory. it's a part of our game. cheers....
